Continuing the journey into textured drone soundscapes that began with Droune1, Droune2 takes a darker, somewhat more experimental turn. While the hallmark slowly morphing synth/keyboard-based drones are still largely the lynchpin of the Droune sound, this release also further explores the sounds of the larger everyday world. From the echoes of tunnels to radio static dives to the babble of a sea of voices heard at a distance...all are brought on board as field recordings/found sounds/samples filtered through heavy effects, amalgamating with the dronescapes to create new darkambient atmospheres.

(For best listening experience, play through earbuds/headphones/speakers with good low frequency response, if possible.)
